EuroMaint Rail and Flytoget sign an agreement on sourcing services

The assignment means that EuroMaint is responsible for everything from searching for suppliers to procurement as well as signing and monitoring contracts."The trains' availability and punctuality are of the utmost importance and we place high requirements on our sourcing partner. In EuroMaint Rail, we have found a technically competent partner who operates an efficient and proactive sourcing process," Bjørn Gunnar Johansen, Purchasing Manager at Flytoget said.
"It is gratifying that we have been trusted to take responsibility for Flytoget's agreements for deliveries and repairs of spare parts. Flytoget demand the maximum availability and reliability for trains and set high requirements on lead times, deliveries and quality. We are looking forward to fulfilling their expectations," Henrik Ehrengren, Material Provision Manager at EuroMaint Rail commented.
Currently, Flytoget has 16 4-carriage EMU Type 71 vehicles, with top speeds of 210 km/h, supplied by Bombardier. The work with the sourcing services started in December 2011.
