From 1st December 2010 passengers will no longer be able to drop off their luggage at Moscow’s centre Aeroexpress station to Sheremetyevo Airport. Instead Aeroexpress will install self service kiosks at Belorussky Station.

The company is stopping the service because the number of passengers who check-in at Belorussky Railway Station was less than 2.5% of the total Aeroexpress passenger traffic, according to the official statement.

“To increase the number of passenger seats and improve the service quality Aeroexpress will start re-equipping the luggage vans into the passenger coaches in December 2010 and all the coaches of high-speed trains will be equipped with additional comfortable luggage shelves,” Aeroexpress announced.
