Miami Airport gets skytrain

| Opened on September 15, skytrain's four-car trains carries passengers between four main areas of Concourse D stations on the mile-long concourse. With a capacity to transport 9,000 passengers per hour, the skytrain can get from one end of Concourse D to the other within five minutes. The system was built by Parsons-Odebrecht Joint Venture with trains provided by Sumitomo Corporation of America and Mitsubishi Heavy Industries. |
