Passengers on the lucky train were earlier notified that one of them would be the lucky 30 millionth passenger who would walk away with surprises when the train arrives in Kuala Lumpur City Air Terminal (KL CAT).

The lucky winner Mr Peter Chan from Singapore was crowned as the historic 30 millionth passenger. His win included two return economy class tickets to Auckland, New Zealand by event partner Royal Brunei Airlines, a limited edition copy of Express Rail Link’s commemorative coffee table book and a complimentary multi-trip KLIA Ekspres Easy Card.
“We are very happy to celebrate this significant moment. Last year was very challenging, with air travel, and consequently ERL’s ridership, adversely affected by several major worldwide issues. However, I am happy to report that we are seeing much better loads this year, and that has brought forward this event,” said Noormah Mohd Noor, Chief Executive Officer of ERL.
The 30 Millionth Passenger event was part of ERL’s year-long 8th Anniversary Celebration.
