Japan to lend EUR 300 million to Bucharest airport rail link

The Government adopted the draft law of the Loan Agreement between Romania and JICA on the 9th June 2010.

“The 16 km Bucharest International Airport Access Link Project is a major EUR 1.1 billion project, of which EUR 300 million will come from the JICA loan,” said the Prime Minister Emil Boc.

The loan will be disbursed in instalments over a period of 11 years.		 Bucharest Metro
It is estimated that the project will be completed in late 2019.
