As part of the agreement between the companies, Yota is going to provide Aeroexpress passengers with wideband wireless Internet access from their devices. WiMAX/Wi-Fi routers are going to be installed in high-speed coaches so that conventional Wi-Fi devices could also receive the signal. Those who have Yota’s devices will access the Internet in the ordinary way. Passengers who do not have WiMAX devices will be offered Yota’s Wi-Fi Internet access for free. Aeroexpress
WiMAX delivers up to 10 Mbps access at any time within the coverage area. The powerful connection is maintained even when moving at 120 km/h.

The project is starting in the first quarter of 2010. The Internet is first to appear on the trains running to Sheremetyevo International Airport. As of today, Yota’s specialists are testing the signal and setting up the equipment.
