High speed rail stop at Lunken Airport

The head of the Ohio Rail Development Commission informed Mayor of Cincinnati that the group will tag Lunken Airport as the preferred temporary station site when it submits its application next month to the Federal Railroad Administration. 3C Rail Route Map
Ohio’s 3C “Quick Start” Passenger Rail Plan promotes high speed rail connection Cleveland, Columbus, Dayton and Cincinnati by 2011.

The Hamilton Vision Commission is also trying to fast-track a plan to include a train station at the Butler County Regional Airport in this statewide passenger rail system.
